In the modern age of gaming, gamers often look for a game with a specific genre. And yes, do note that this list is not in any order. So, without further chit-chat, here are the 5 Most Violent Games of 2015-16:

5. Mad Max:


Mad Max is an action-adventure game set in an open world environment which is based on the Mad Max film’s universe. The protagonist’s name is Max. And yes, the game is full of action, violence and flame-throwing guitars. Players can run-over enemies while driving a car, snapping necks out-of enemies body and demolishing enemy’s body into pieces using weapons. Cut-scenes include a lot violent moments in the game that makes it one of the most action-filled violent game. Also, the game has very nice visuals and a good story.

4. Mortal Kombat X:


Where we talk about violence in games, we must talk about Mortal Kombat too! After-all, this game has a history of violence! The 10th part of Mortal Kombat is the most intense and controversial fighting game series that offer game-play mechanics and bloody scenes more brutal than other parts of this gaming series. This game has more focus on split-second timing, counters, projectile attacks and brutal executions that are never seen before in any game.

Body parts snapped, characters diced into cubes, heads are crushed and there are bloody executions by the characters in the game called “Fatalities”. Mortal Kombat X is technically a complex fighting game that requires a lot of skill. It is definitely not rated for kids. However, if you’re looking for some blood and gore, you must try Mortal Kombat X.

3. Until Dawn:

Until dawn is an interactive drama survival horror-adventure game by Sony Entertainment. Until Dawn is developed by Supermassive Games. The game is set in an isolated lodge up the mountains. Being in this list, Until Dawn is very violent. The teens that are trapped in the lodge get picked-off one by one. Humans are seen without heads, dismembered, sliced into half and more. In Until Dawn, the teens die in a brutal fashion. The game is definitely not for the fainthearted.

Until Dawn is a PlayStation exclusive, meaning you won’t be able to play it on any other platform except the PlayStation 4. Here’s a video in which PewDiePie plays Until Dawn, have fun!

2. Dying Light and its expansion Dying Light: The Following:

Dying Light is an open-world first-person survival horror game developed by Techland. Dying Light sets the player in a zombie-infested world. The game also utilize parkour, which is quite fun. Talking about fun, the game also let you chop zombies into pieces, which is a nice thing to have right? The fun doesn’t end there, Dying Light also allows you to become a zombie and hunt down other players in multiplayer battles. The zombies are slow during day time, but they become aggressive and fast during the night. The protagonist is dropped into the zombie-infested city of Harran, Turkey, to find the cause of the zombie outbreak.

Dying Light: The Following is an expansion to the original Dying Light, released in 2016. Dying Light: The Following has interesting new features. It has twice as large map as the original Dying Light. And also, Dying Light: The Following also features a drive-able dune buggy, which you can use to mow down zombies or travel across the huge map quickly.

1. Fallout 4 and its DLCs:

The sequel to one of our all-time favorite games, Fallout 4 is an action survival RPG developed by Bethesda Game Studios. Fallout 4 is set in a post-apocalyptic world, destroyed by nuclear warfare. The game camera is switchable between first-person and third person modes. The game features a unique shooting system called V.A.T.S, which allows for hits on specific parts of the opponent’s body. Fallout 4 is full of blood, gore and zombies. You can headshot enemies and blow their heads off, dismember them or just completely annihilate them with the “Fat-Man” mini nuke launcher.

Fallout 4 also have three cool DLCs, Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and the story-expansion Far Harbor. The Automatron DLC allows you to build killer sentry robots with nuke launchers and flaming shishkebabs. Far Harbor brings a whole new map to the game, as well as a story-expansion, which is quite good. More DLCs of Fallout 4 are also under-way.
