Microsoft is launching yet another major update for the Xbox One today, which will bring many new features to the table. The new update launches today and it will improve the overall performance and stability of the Xbox One console, while also bringing some new features.
What’s New in the latest update?
The new update changes a lot of the dashboard of Xbox One. The UI changes of the dashboard allow quicker access to frequently used applications/features and improves the overall look of the Xbox dashboard.
The icon of the game that is currently being played is now a lot smaller. Below that, there are buttons that act as a shortcut to other related areas, such as Game Hub or sharing features. Also, if you don’t have a background already set, the dashboard will have background of the artwork of the game that is currently being played.
Thanks to the new update, access to the Guide screen is now easier than before. Instead of two presses, you can now access the Guide screen by a single press of the Xbox button. The guide screen makes navigation to different areas such as GameDVR or background music selection a lot easier. The latest Xbox One update also introduces Beam live streaming service.
Other features in the new update include home screen achievement tracker, co-pilot accessibility, Blu-ray player bitstream passthrough, Screen time limits and much more. If you’d like to know more about the update, you can check out the Xbox Wire article.

Sounds great. I need to update today.
One of the best updates. Dashboard is fast like the 360’s was. You can access your recent games, apps etc just by hitting the home button.
