MSI Z170A MPower Gaming Titanium Motherboard Announced
After the Z170 XPower Gaming Titanium motherboard, MSI has announced its sibling, the Z170A MPower Gaming Titanium Motherboard. This motherboard is based on LGA-1151 socket built for the latest Intel Skylake 14nm processors. The motherboard has a very minimalist looking color scheme. The PCB is white along with silver and chrome details on the heatsinks and heatspreaders.
And yes guys, the best thing we like about this motherboard is that it has a backplate on the reverse-side, just like a graphics card. Aside from the catchy name, the MSI Z170 MPower Gaming Titanium Motherboard features steel-reinforcement on the PCIe slots and the DIMM slots. It features 11-phase CPU VRM along with three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots accompanied by 3 PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.
Talking about the storage support, the MSI Z170A MPower Gaming Titanium Motherboard (Whoa, that name!) features six SATA 6 Gb/s ports along with two 32 Gb/s M.2 slots and one 32 Gb/s U.2 port.
On the I/O, this motherboard features one USB 3.1 Type-A port and one USB 3.1 type-C port, along with six USB 3.0 ports and one internal USB Type-C port. It also features 8-channel audio with AudioBoost 3 technology. It also feature one gigabit Ethernet connection, which is powered by an Intel controller.
However, MSI did not reveal any details about pricing and availability.
