Unravel Sequel is Coming

Unravel released this year in February. It is a very beautiful and unique puzzle platform game developed by Coldwood Interactive and published by Electronic Arts (EA).

Today, EA has announced to warrant a sequel of Unravel.

“Earlier this year, we released Unravel, a one-of-a-kind, physics-based puzzle platformer that captured the hearts of players around the world. The awesomely creative development team at Coldwood Interactive brought tiny, endearing Yarny to life. And since then, it’s been quite incredible to see the community’s love for Yarny, both in the game and beyond”
– Patrick Soderlund, Executive Vice President of EA.

Patrick further said:

“At EA, we love working with creative and passionate development teams, in our own studios and our partners. Which is why I’m very pleased to announce that we’ve signed a new agreement with Coldwood to work with them on their next project”

However, Patrick’s statements did not mention Unravel by name, but an E-mail from an EA representative confirmed that this is for the sequel of Unravel.

Patrick’s statements did not mention anything about the release date. But he did say that EA will reveal more information about this when the time is right.
