Sharp’s New Phone Spotted on GFXBench – Features 10-Core CPU at 2.3GHz

Sharp is currently engaged in developing their new smartphone which is going to have a MediaTek 10-core Helio X20 (dubbed MT6797). The Sharp FS8002 is going to be a high-end smartphone from Sharp.

According to a Chinese website, the new upcoming smartphone by Sharp is having the model number “FS8002” is spotted on GFXBench. This smartphone will be designed and developed with the cooperation of Foxconn Electronics. Sharp’s new smartphone will be targeting Taiwan and other non-Japanese markets.

The Sharp FS8002 is on the list of GFXBench. It is coming with the beastly MediaTek 10-core Helio X20 CPU, ARM-Mali-T880 GPU and 4.6 or 5.2-inch full HD display. It will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0.

Sharp FS8002

Sharp recently released their flagship smartphone called the Aquos P1 in Taiwanese markets. It features a 5.3-inch IGZO display, Snapdragon 820 chipset and a 22.6 megapixel rear camera.

Only time can tell what this upcoming deca-core smartphone from Sharp has to offer. We just have to wait and see what happens.
