Many retailers including Amazon leaked Xbox One S’s release date to be August 2. But there was no official confirmation if its true or not. But now, Microsoft has officially confirmed this. The Xbox One S will hit the markets on August 2, 2016.
Xbox One S Release Date Officially Confirmed
Microsoft’s Xbox One S is the slimmer version of the Xbox One. It features built-in powersupply and revamped design. The Microsoft Xbox One S will support 4K movies and HDR. The console will also come with revamped Xbox Controllers with textured grips.

The Xbox One S 2TB will cost $400 at launch. It will come with one controller only. According to Microsoft, the 1TB and 500GB versions of the Xbox One S will be available later with price tags of $350 and $300 respectively.
