Gears of War 4 is going to be the fifth installment in the Gears of War series. And for the first time, it is going to come on PC too. Gears of War 4 is a part of Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere program, meaning if you buy the game on Xbox, it is going to show up in your Windows 10 game library too.
At Gamescom 2016, Gears of War 4 4K gameplay got showcased. The trailer was running on a PC with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card. The game looks absolutely gorgeous at 4K Ultra-HD resolution. Now obviously, the Xbox One cannot run the game at 4K. But the Xbox Scorpio probably can. You can expect this kind of visuals from the upcoming behemoth from Microsoft.
The 4K gameplay trailer of Gears of War 4 at Gamescom 2016 shows phenomenal visuals and fluent animations. But still, it is running on a PC. The Xbox Scorpio can’t match the power of the GTX 1080 (a $600 GPU) but still, with optimizations, it can give this kind of performance.
