While everyone could agree that the smartphone market is quite on a rage, there’s no denying that every manufacturer want to out do one another. Xiaomi has been dominating the mid-range smartphone market along with it’s rivals like Huawei, OnePlus and Lenovo for quite some time now, and it’s about time another competitor emerges.
Vernee has been promoting their smartphones on various online shopping sites for quite a while now and while they didn’t receive the same attraction and hype as Xiaomi and OnePlus first did in 2013, Vernee still has quite some momentum to join the race.
More than a week ago, Xiaomi unveiled their Redmi Note 4, a phone that yet again brought excellent performance to the masses bringing some hardware revisions and slight improvements in the camera department over it’s predecessor, the Redmi Note 3.
Features
Considering the specifications incorporated into Vernee’s Appolo Lite, it’s pretty obvious how similar the Redmi Note 4 and Appolo Lite are. Boasting the same Helio X20 Processor as the Redmi Note 4, both smartphones come with 5.5-inch Full HD Displays packed in metal bodies embedded with fingerprint readers.
The Appolo Lite comes with 4GB along with 32GB of Internal Storage. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with 3GB of RAM at max which the exception of double the storage at 64GB compared to the 32GB on the Appolo Lite. The Appolo Lite also comes with a 16MP rear camera from Samsung which could record videos up to 4k.
The Appolo Lite comes with Android Marshmallow 6.0 running out of the box, with scores reaching over 90k on Antutu. While real-world performance couldn’t be determined by a simple benchmark, benchmarks give an idea of where the smartphone fits along with the rest of the competition.
