Gears Of War 4 is an important title for Microsoft indeed, and without a doubt, the fourth installment in the Gears of War franchise is shaping up to be great game for PC and Xbox gamers.
Gears Of War 4 allows Xbox and PC players to cross-play between both platforms in every game mode except for competitive multiplayer. This was quite expected and is a good choice to nail down the advantage PC gamers have for the use of keyboard and mouse. Although if controllers are your kick, that works well too, even for PC gamers.
The PC version supports game resolutions up to 4K and can deliver some amazing visuals, but that isn’t to say the Xbox One is a slouch. In fact, the Xbox One S supports HDR if you have the screen to drive it and could have an edge over the PC and standard Xbox One versions of the game.
Adding to that, Gears Of War 4 is also a part of Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere program that allows you to play Gears of War 4 on both platforms, the PC and Xbox One with a single purchase.
