For quite a while, it was believed that the next Nintendo console would be called the Nintendo NX. More rumors fled out about how the console would work and was found to be a hybrid console in Nintendo’s official showcase trailer of the Nintendo switch. Nintendo has phased out in the background after Sony and Microsoft took their rivalry far. Nintendo is still surviving, even after the Wii U not being much of a game changer, but Ubisoft’s CEO, including GameStop’s CEO believe that Nintendo’s new console could be a game changer.
GameStop CEO, Paul Raines told investors:
“They have built in something that will give us chance to really have a different experience from what exists today.
That’s what I like – that they come with something new that is adapted to what we actually want now.”
While Nintendo has been out of the fame, the Nintendo Switch is really enticing me to try out their new console already, just by the trailer alone. While the GameBoy days aren’t here for Nintendo, having some industry professionals trying out the console is certainly impressive and could make another way for Nintendo to remain in the league.
Pokemon CEO, earlier added:
“Nintendo is trying to change the concept”
While it’s certain that they aren’t running for the best graphics with its weak hardware compared to the upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro and Scorpio, Mr. Paul’s belief in Nintendo’s strategy in how we play games should certainly spike some enthusiasm, and with the trailer, they certainly striked some enthusiasm being among the top trending videos in late October.
The best way I would describe it as would be the portability and the joy of the Gameboy packed with Nintendo’s best first party titles for the TV.
