Nintendo has had an amazing launch. Despite issues with it’s hardware at the time of it’s launch, Nintendo has actually enjoyed the launch of the Nintendo Switch.
With many features packed into their new hybrid console, Nintendo has got a large gaming community covered. Along with it’s console, Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild has also set records. We’ve seen the game usher in Japan, but North American sales weren’t behind.
2017 is an important year for Nintendo to show off what the hardware and extra gimmicks inside the Nintendo Switch offers. So far the minimal lineup available for the Switch should keep many users engaged. Nintendo has a lot of titles to offer that should be arriving soon later this year.
According to the report, over 1.3M copies of the Legend of Zelda:Breath of The Wild have been sold sold so far, and it continues to grow as users start to hop onto the Switch. According to NPD, over 906,000 units have been sold in the US alone which on itself is impressive considering how close they were to the 1M mark for its console sales.
Gamers should now be eager to have a look at what Nintendo has to offer throughout the year and we believe that Nintendo will deliver after all the failed attempts they’ve had in the past
