Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 leaks have been running wild in the rumor mill and we have gathered quite a much of details regarding the upcoming behemoth of a smartphone. Ranging from its dual camera setup at the back to the 6.3-inch QHD display, the Note 8 is set to launch before Apple unveils its much hyped iPhone 8 sometime in September of this year. Generally speaking, the Note 8 will follow the footsteps of its cousin, the Galaxy S8 and S8+. However, there are quite some dissimilarities which will set it apart from the recently released Galaxy S series flagship. New leak suggests that the Galaxy Note 8 will sport even thinner bezels than the Galaxy S8.
New Leak Suggests The Galaxy Note 8 To Feature Thinner Bezels Than The Galaxy S8
At this point in time, we have got little specification details. While the processor to power the best is confirmed, other details are scarce. Today, we have witnessed the visual leaks of the Galaxy Note 8. The schematics reveal the display panel leaks and renders suggest it will be released in August.
A pair of images are leaked suggesting the panel belongs to the Galaxy Note 8 as per previous leaks and rumors. As it is expected from the South Korean giant, the bezel size is said to be greatly reduced, more than what we have seen in the new Galaxy S8 and S8+. This will catch the eye of various fans wanting to try the forthcoming handset with nearly no bezels.
In the image provided above, we see the Galaxy Note 8’s display panel. The second image shared below is a display cutout. While both of them portray different pictures, we’re getting mixed views on the display aspect. As can be seen, there will be side bezels, although minute. In the second image, the bezels are eliminated and ultimately, the screen to body ratio is increased compared to the Galaxy S8 and its bigger variant.
Derived from these images is another aspect that depicts that there won’t be a fingerprint sensor on the front. This further points to two possibilities: It will either be located at the back, same as the Galaxy S8 or beneath the display. However, no official details are available to support any of these scenarios.
It all depends on time what Samsung chooses to offer its loyal customers. Share your views regarding the leaks with us.
