Anthem’s PS4 Pro Gameplay Trailer Was Sneakily Edited, It Actually Shows Footage of Xbox One X

BioWare’s new upcoming video game called “Anthem” was announced last month at E3 2017. The game looks absolutely beautiful, with amazing graphics and promising gameplay. Sony also showed off the game, running on the PS4 Pro. Well, it looks like it wasn’t running off a PS4 Pro. The gameplay footage was actually edited and the footage was from the Xbox One X.

First, this is the official PS4 gameplay trailer of Anthem, uploaded by official PlayStation YouTube channel:

At 3:39 mark in the video above, if you zoom in and look closely (preferably in slow-motion), you can clearly see that the buttons are edited and the real Xbox layout buttons are visible.

Anthem's PS4 Pro Gameplay Trailer Was Sneakily Edited, It Actually Shows Footage of Xbox One X

As you can see in the picture above, you can see that the buttons are edited to match the PlayStation layout. L1 and R1 buttons are photoshopped on top of the LB and RB buttons of Xbox.

So yeah, guys. It is likely that the gameplay footage was from an Xbox One X, not the PS4 Pro. We don’t know for sure if the PS4 Pro will be able to run Anthem at the resolution and visuals shown in the trailer, not after seeing that the footage was from the Xbox One X.
