Forza Motorsport 5 Goes Free For Xbox Live Gold Members

With Forza Motorsport 7 around the corner, Turn10 Studios has announced that Forza Motorsport 5 is going to be available for free for Xbox Live Gold Members this September. Starting from today, Forza fans would be able to get a hold on Forza’s classic title from 2013. Being one of the biggest titles around the original Xbox One launch the game was one of the first titles many gamers settled on to experience what the original Xbox One had to offer. Fast-forward four years later, with two more members making their way into the Xbox One family of consoles, there’s quite a slew of gamers who are just boarding onto the Xbox One family of consoles, especially with the Xbox One X around.

Starting today, Forza Motorsport 5 is officially available for free to Xbox Live Gold members as part September’s Games With Gold offer. Players who download FM5 will also receive the Top Gear Car Pack – featuring cars like the 1966 Chaparral #66 Chaparral Cars 2# and the 2013 Audi RS5 Avant – for no additional charge. In addition, this weekend only we’re featuring Forza Motorsport 6 as part of a Free Play Weekend on Xbox Live. – Turn10 Studios

Forza Motorsport 5 was nourished with a great selection of tracks and vehicles during its launch and still holds a great community ready to take on the tracks if you decide to play it online. For Xbox Live Gold members who have been enjoying some excellent games recently, Forza Motorsport 5 is definitely a great choice as well. Let’s not forget about the free cars you’re going to get in the Top Gear Car Pack.
