Nvidia is making a rather bold move with the GTX 1070Ti. According to many reports, Nvidia has locked the frequencies on the 1070Ti, so it does not affect the sales of the GTX 1080. Nvidia is aiming to counter AMD’s Vega 56 with the 1070Ti. The 1070Ti is just around the corner. As we are close to its release in the market, pictures of the GTX 1070Ti from different brands are leaking out.
KFA2 GeForce GTX 1070Ti EX got pictured today. The pictures confirm 8GB GDDR5 memory interface, 6+8 PIN PCIe power configuration and also hint strongly at locked frequencies. According to a lot of reports on the internet, all GTX 1070Ti GPUs come with 1607MHz base clock and 1683MHz boost clock. The 1070Ti is also reported to feature 2432 CUDA cores, by many sources. The KFA2 GeForce GTX 1070Ti EX features a dual-fan design, with a metal shroud and a backplate.
