The Xbox One’s backward compatibility list is already huge, with over 400 titles. However, Microsoft is not stopping here. At E3 2017, Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will get backward compatible games from the original Xbox. They did not announce a release date but these leaks indicate that a batch of Xbox backward compatible titles is coming soon. As the release of the Xbox One X is coming closer, Microsoft is adding more and more titles to the backward compatibility list.
A tweet from Twitter user @h0x0d leaks out the first batch of Xbox titles coming to the Xbox One.
Backing up this leak, many Reddit users have reported seeing these games on the Xbox marketplace, however, they are buggy and often give an error when the user tries to open them. According to the picture, 12 games from the original Xbox are coming to Xbox One backward compatibility. These are:
- Red Faction II.
- Prince of Persia.
- Fuzion Frenzy.
- Dead to Rights.
- The King of Fighters Neowave.
- Grabbed by Ghoulies.
- Crimson Skies.
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
- Sid Meier’s Pirates!.
- Bloodrayne.
- Psychonauts.
- Ninja Gaiden Black.
These may not include your favorite, but this list does offer a vast variety of playing style. Microsoft is yet to confirm these titles, but these leaks do have some weight. For more on this, stay tuned to GeeksULTD.
