Xbox Game-Gifting Feature Now Available to Xbox Insiders

The all-new Xbox game-gifting feature is now available to Xbox Insiders. The new feature was in testing since the start of October, and now it is available to Xbox Insiders for further testing.  A few selected users inside the Xbox Insider program got the feature.

Corporate Vice President of Xbox Mike Ybarra has announced that the new feature will be available to all Xbox Insiders soon. Ybarra also confirmed that the game-gifting feature also allows users to gift DLCs as well as full games.

It is just like Steam’s game-gifting feature on PC. You can buy a title “as a gift” and then gift it to someone in your friend list. Microsoft did not announce when the feature will roll out to everyone but as it is going live slowly, we speculate that it will be out before Holiday season.
