Samsung Galaxy S9 To Pack A 90% Screen-Body Ratio Display

Samsung has been going nuts with the bezel-less trend. Especially ever since they started working on the Note Edge. If you may be able to recall, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge was among Samsung’s first attempts to bring something new to the market. With the company perfecting its approach on excellent beautiful displays, Samsung has had no issue about jumping aboard onto the bezel-less trend with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8. With the bezel-less display demand increasing throughout the world, Samsung is always there to take it a step further. While the bezel-less trend was sort of rejuvenated thanks to Xiaomi with the Mi MiX, Samsung is simply leaping from one log to another in the race of bringing the best-looking beast in the smartphone market.

With fans expecting to witness a successor to the Samsung Galaxy S8, the Samsung Galaxy S9 doesn’t seem to be that off from the minds of many enthusiastic Samsung followers. With the slew of S9 rumors rolling-in, the latest reveal seems to be very enticing giving us a hint into what  Samsung “could” be preparing behind the curtains back in South Korea.

Based on the renders and leaks provided by the Chinese source, the Samsung Galaxy S8 would come two variants, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the S9 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy S9 would pack a single rear facing camera, while the S9 Plus would pack a dual camera setup. Additional information that we could pickup from the leak include a a 90% display-body ratio and Samsung relocating the fingerprint sensor to the rear middle of the phone. Excellent stuff indeed, yet again, if true. Regarding internals, we should be looking at the latest and greatest hardware from Qualcomm to power the international variant of the phone, most probably the Snapdragon 845, along 6-8GB of RAM.

Everything that made its way into this leak simply excites me for what’s about to come ahead in 2018. With the company willing to push boundaries even further, there’s no telling what’s about to come ahead until Samsung reveals some details about it officially.
