Rocket League is without a doubt one of the most intriguing titles to grind hours on. The unique title has found its way to almost every major platform and has given players everything they could have asked for.
Today, the developers of the title, Psyonix were proud to announce how well the title has sold over the years by confirming that they’ve sold over 40M copies of the soccer title. In contrast, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has sold half as much within nine months of its release on the PC.
The frenzy-like title allows players to hop into an online match allowing rocket cars to compete with each another in a sort of a soccer match. Not only has the title found immense support from its players, but the title has managed to keep itself relevant after all these years and is still standing strong. In a tweet, the developers of Rocket League expressed their gratitude towards the players of the game. They said:
Rocket League now has 40 MILLION players worldwide! Thank you to our ever-growing community for helping us start the new year with such a fantastic milestone.
Rocket League is currently available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, MacOS and Linux. However, it doesn’t end there, the title now allows Nintendo Switch and Xbox One players to compete with each another creating a whole new world of exciting moments for the owners of the title.
