AMD’s about to release their new lineup of CPUs. With the Ryzen lineup of CPUs performing phenomenally well for the company, the company is expecting to release its new range of CPUs later this year featuring the same AM4 socket as its predecessors.
Leaked by VideoCardz, the seemingly gorgeous motherboard features everything you would expect from a high-end motherboard. The GIGABYTE AORUS X470 GAMING 7 WiFi would cater the next-gen Ryzen CPUs that would carry the R3/R5/R7 2XXX series model number. As usual for a high-end board, the GIGABYTE AORUS X470 GAMING 7 WiFi comes with three SLI-enabled PCIE 3.0 X16 slots, out of which two are reinforced and are SLI enabled. From the leaked image, we could also spot two M.2 NVMe heatsinks along with a huge VRM heatsink to dissipate all of the heat.
According to leaked pictures from Amazon, courtesy of VideoCardz, the GIGABYTE AORUS X470 GAMING 7 WiFi would retail for $239. While the GIGABYTE AORUS X470 GAMING 5 WiFi and GIGABYTE AORUS X470 ULTRA GAMING would retail for $179 and $139 respectively.
As of this moment, there is no confirmation about when AMD plans to release its next-gen range of CPUs. However, it seems that most likely we should be looking forward to this hardware later this year.
