Fortnite requires no introduction at this point. Epic Games, the minds behind the game are having some deep secrets being discussed down their lair that encompasses the future of the game.
Over 72 hours ago, players witnessed the spectacular Rocket Launch that ended up creating a number of cracks between the space and time continuum both, in the sky and on certain areas of the map. According to leaks and rumors, it is said that Fortnite could be getting a major overhaul to its map design dating the island back to the pre-historic era.
An explanation published by a redittor theorizes what the storyline of Fortnite’s visitor would be. According to the redditor, his theory claims that characters such as Omega, Carbide, Venturion and Valor are all a part of an act for a movie and that the island is now protected by a shield. The visitor is the actual plot maker who would decide the outcome of the season. He said:
The Visitor, dedicated to returning home, modifies the fake rocket into a functional time machine utilizing the hop rocks, and other samples of his time period’s tech that fell on the island.
The “cracks” you saw on the rocket’s launch were tears upon the fabric of the space-time continuum. The Visitor did several loops through the island to get enough speed to completely RIP through space-time so he could go back home. This is backed up by the increasing size of each crack as the rocket went in and out of different time periods.
He also said that the hop rocks that are commonly found in Dusty Divot are actually samples that he had created for his own testing and that the crack in the sky is said to enlarge over the next few weeks. The now enlarged crack would eventually spit out pieces from ancient times leading the island to get a major revamp.
So that was quite a good theory. However, I’m not fully buying into it. I believe that there’s more to the story. Considering that the Drum Gun was officially revealed by Epic, it seems like there’s something that Epic’s still hiding in its closet that would yet again, aim to exceed the expectations of all of its players, just like the rocket launch did.
Anyways, a nice way to end Season 4, that’s for sure.
