The Sony Xperia XZ3 is out and here is all what you need to know. Sony unveiled the XZ3 at IFA 2018 and it is all what we expected. First off the phone will come in 4 different colors namely Black, White Silver, Forest Green and Bordeaux Red. Sony claims that the XZ3 was made with practicality and usability kept in mind and will provide the complete experience in all sectors. The four colors represent the four seasons of Japan and mimic their beauty as said by Yusuke Otani.

The XZ3 is the first ever smartphone to launch with Android 9.0 Pie straight out of the box. Sony has ditched the the notched design and instead chosen an approach quite similar to that of Samsung. It will have IP 68 waterproofing and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 all around to provide a much better durability standard.
Sony have further polished their design from last time’s XZ2, the device is much more seamless and the curved edges provide a much better grip overall. Although they’ve ditched the notch, Sony has decided to get rid of the headphone jack as well. Although there is a micro SD card slot which will allow us to upgrade the internal storage of the device.
This time around they are focusing more towards the display and camera of the smartphone which basically is their selling point. They have put on a QHD+ display with HDR integrated Sony Bravia technology. They claim that the display is more vibrant and when paired with the dual front facing stereo speakers provides a mesmerizing environment.
As far as the camera is concerned, Sony has went all out for a 19 MP Motion Eye™ camera. We don’t see any dual camera’s this time around but this sensor does wonders. With the incredible 4K HDR video recording this camera is instantly lovable.
Furthermore the camera shoots super slow motion video in FHD resolution giving us a whopping 960 frames per second.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a 3330 mAh battery which should allow it to last a complete day given normal conditions. The battery paired with what they call the Qnovo adaptive charging allows the XZ3 to last a complete day without any worries.
I am not discussing the complete specifications and every individual thing because it’ll make the post long and boring but for all those geeks out there be sure to click here for the complete specifications and overview.
I have bashed Sony previously for their undefined moves but this release really brings back the classic Xperia back to life. All in all the phone looks great and Sony have done a wonderful job quite surprisingly.

Our loudest Xperiaâ„¢ speakers just got louder. The front facing stereo speakers use S-Force Front Surround to put you in the middle of the music and films.
