The folks over at Epic Games have just dropped a teaser as Season 5 puts itself to rest. The teaser that Epic has dropped reveals quite a few cues that would help us speculate what’s down the rabbit hole. After a long seven years of development, the folks over at Epic released Fortnite for the masses. The final release of the game launched on the September the 26th, 2017. Amidst the launch of Fortnite, Epic caught up with the whole Battle Royale bandwagon that PUBG had been riding on and decided to push their take on the Battle Royale genre. Since then, everything has become history. Not only did Fortnite conquer Twitch charts, but it also dethroned PUBG in popularity despite their differences.
Fortnite’s Season 6 release date lines up exactly with the launch of the game’s initial launch, making the Battle Royale mode from the game officially a year old. Given that Epic has released Clown-themed skins and a number of other skins in the past, the caption from the Fortnite theme leads us to believe that there would be a few party-themed skins coming down the line, the first one being the Llama skin in the image.
Fortnite’s Season 6 update is also about to bring a ton of competitive improvements down the field too. As we reported a while ago, with the Season 6 update, Epic is adding spatial audio to Fortnite for players who use sound cues efficiently, which in turn, would allow them to pinpoint the origin of the sounds.
