Xiaomi has definitely been in the news for more than a while now. From the launch of the Mi 8 Lite and Mi 8 Pro to Xiaomi announcing their cooperation with the folks over at Epic Games, Xiaomi definitely has a ton lot going for itself recently.
After launching the highly successful Pocophone F1, it seems like Xiaomi wants to take full advantage of the market. Now, Xiaomi has been offering some amazing accessories for their devices, but it seems like Xiaomi wants to sway away skins manufacturers by launching skins for the Pocophone F1 themselves.
Skins for phones typically retail for $10-$20 and names such as DBrand and Slickwraps come to mind when you think you need to pimp up your phone a bit. However, it seems like Xiaomi wants to kill that too if you own any of their devices.
Recently, the folks over at Xiaomi have announced a range of skins for their devices. Starting with the Pocophone F1, it seems like Xiaomi doesn’t want anyone to take advantage of the Pocophone F1’s enthusiasm. Xiaomi new range of skins for the Pocophone F1 start at a whopping $4 depending on where you live. Since these skins are making their way to India first, it’s likely that Xiaomi will bring these skins to other market.
Their skins are made of 3M vinyl material and are expected to be last for more than a while given how well 3M vinyl skins are when it comes to durability.
There’s no telling if Xiaomi plans to release skins for the rest of their smartphones anytime soon, it seem like Xiaomi’s deal is too irresistible.
Here’s the first batch of skins. We definitely hope Xiaomi could expand on this. And given that Xiaomi is the manufacturer themselves, they definitely have to covered for the most precise cuts.
