The OnePlus 6T has been officially unveiled, and it’s a healthy improvement over the OnePlus 6. OnePlus has made several big improvements over the OnePlus 6, most notably the water-drop notch and in-display fingerprint sensor. The design of the OnePlus 6T is gorgeous, to say the least. The leaks were confirmed today, the OnePlus 6T is now official. The phone is very close to what the leaks and rumors indicated. Starting at an expected $549, the market-segment that OnePlus is targeting with the OnePlus 6T is definitely very competitive. With phones like the Xiaomi Mi 8 and the $300 POCOPHONE F1, the OnePlus 6T might be a tough choice for some. Also, you can find the Samsung Galaxy S9 at around $600, which might be a better buy for some people.
Taking a look at the official specs of the OnePlus 6T, the phone boasts Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset along with up to 8 Gigabytes of RAM and an Adreno 630 graphics processor. The phone also comes with a nice 6.4″ AMOLED display, with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop notch. OnePlus has also made some small improvements in the cameras, especially for low-light situations. Software-wise, OnePlus has made some great improvements for the OnePlus 6T, as indicated in the keynote. The phone will come with OxygenOS 9.0 (based on Android 9.0 Pie), out of the box.
