Razer Shows Off Their 3Gbps Sila Gaming Router – Features 4x Gigabit LAN Ports & 9 Antennas

Razer is no stranger in the gaming market. With the company expected to reveal the Razer Phone 2 later this month, Razer has decided to sprinkle up the gaming hemisphere by announcing their first gaming router to the market, dubbed as Sila. The Razer Sila features 4 x Gigabit Ports, support for up to 2.9Gbps worth of total band with as well as a diverse selection of WiFi settings that would enhance your gaming experience and is available for retail starting today for a premium of $249 in the US.

The Razer Sila features a quad gigabit port setup with a single port dedicated for WAN and three ports dedicated for LAN. The router supports the usual WPE and WPA2-PSK protocol for security and your usual 2.4Ghz and 5GHz frequencies for maximum flexibility. In addition to that, the router features an excellent set of antennae optimized for maximum range as well as a total of two USB ports for those file servers. Being a router released in 2018, the router also features your usual QoS capabilities as well as an excellent setup guide if you decide to configure the router via your iOS or Android powered device.

On the outside, the router features the usual killer Razer looks along with a hint of green highlights here and there throughout the shell of the router. In addition to that, the router has a few tricks up its sleeve to enhance the final experience delivered by the router. These features include prioritization of packets via QoS as well as Intelligent Active steering if you decide to combine more than a single Razer Sila router throughout your building for a maximum range of 6000 square feet and 3 stories.
