Razer Phone 2 Price Dropped To $499 Following Galaxy S10 Launch

Samsung has had an absolute blast last month following the launch of the Galaxy S10. With the Galaxy S10 lineup now being the lineup to beat, a ton of manufacturers have begun to feel the heat. Following a series of other launches at MWC 2019, Razer has announced a price cut for the Razer Phone 2, and it’s looking good.

Razer has announced a limited-time price drop for their Razer Phone 2. With the price cut in effect, you could now pickup the legendary Razer Phone 2 for just $499 ($300 off) and it may just become your ultimate gaming smartphone.

The Razer Phone 2 features last year’s Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, what makes the Razer Phone 2 unique is its amazing 120Hz display, 4000mAh battery, and its incredible dual front-facing speakers, a ton of features that a ton of manufacturers have begun to opt out of nowadays.

The Razer Phone 2, in our opinion, would be a solid device, regardless of your motives unless you have some specific boxes to tick. For $499, the Razer Phone 2 now trades blows with OnePlus’s 6T and a number of other devices in other regions. However, if you can’t decide to pickup either the OnePlus 6T or the Razer Phone 2, we’d recommend the Razer Phone 2 any day of the week for gaming. However, if gaming isn’t your jam, you must’ve figured your answer by now.

If you’re planning to pickup the phone, do remember that the phone does lack a headphone jack and does come with a ton of other goodies to compensate for it. Compensations include the inclusion of a 24-bit DAC, IP67 water resistance and amazing front-firing speakers. The device comes in two colors, Mirror Black and Satin Black. So choose wisely.
