Sony’s State of Play platform has been around for quite some time and offers a unique experience for folks wanting to have an in-depth dive into their favourite PlayStation titles. In these times of distress, the online community has beautifully centred itself around the online broadcast platforms.
Ghost of Tsushima is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of this year and the fact that only a few weeks remain from its official release, fans are more excited than ever. The new episode of Sony’s State of Play is to have a deep dive into the world of Tsushima filled with exotic sceneries and an extended look at the visuals, gameplay and not to forget the beautifully structured combat mechanics.
With major events being called off, the Sony’s State of Play unlike many has been a totally digital experience from the very start and with that, they’ve announced that the upcoming episode set to air Thursday, May 14th would be dedicated completely to Sucker Punch’s upcoming masterpiece. Considering how the recent events weren’t quite able to fulfil expectations, Sony’s experience in broadcasts would certainly help them out here.
Sony bluntly stated that the broadcast would be all about Sucker Punch and that fans shouldn’t expect any news regarding the PS5 or anything for that matter. Ghost of Tsushima is set to release this July 17th and fans wouldn’t mind an exclusive extended look at the fine details folks over at Sucker Punch have pulled off.
Recently, Sony announced their new PlayStation Studios platform for their first-party titles and even though Ghost of Tsushima completely fits in the requirements the actual platform is to release beside the PS5 and hence the game won’t be getting a certified PlayStation Studios badge.
The episode is set to begin at 1 PM Pacific Time and the current cut clocks around 20 minutes so we should be expecting something around that neighbourhood. The streams are to take place on their YouTube and Twitch.
