PlayStation Mobile Controller: Is Sony Coming up with One? Yes, Sony is coming up with one. We are now so excited to put this article on, as we expected Sony to work on something new. The latest news by VGC suggests a unique style of game controllers under development. These new-generation game controllers are expected to follow the left-right module with space for smartphones in the middle.
The controllers seem to be inspired by the design of the Dualshock 4. The new design was first spotted out of a patent by SIE Japan. The patent describes the new design as “a left-side grip portion and a right-side grip portion gripped by the left and right hands of the user.” Also, the new design features the D-pad, action buttons, triggers, and standard thumbsticks.
Besides, upon the first look at the technical drawings, it perfectly seems that the Nintendo’s joy-con controllers inspire it. But it is not yet confirmed if the controllers would support cloud gaming or remote play because Sony itself does not yet announce the features.
But for the same, since these would be the next-generation consoles, it is unlikely to expect vintage features. Sure, these would come lass with the latest Bluetooth technology. Besides, what do you think is suited for tilt sensors.
And this news is for sure that the tilt feature is under development as the patent also reads- “a shaft portion that can be tilted by the user, and detect the tilting direction and tilting amount of the shaft portion.”
This one would entirely be a gamepad, as there were many ‘come-and-gone’ games in the mobile industry. But at least with this new patent, the industry could itself seek a potential revolution for the small screen games, specifically.
This is already marked and gaining its root in the market since, before this news, Sony had already procured the latest installments in the mobile-gaming ground.
Games like God of War- Mimir’s Vision, Run Sackboy! Run and Uncharted: Fortune Hunter and Wipeout Rushed by Sony itself to sow the seeds into mobile gaming.
