When Is ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Coming to Disney Plus?

Must Read
I’m the guy you see dancing in the rain in the middle of the night. Pursuing my bachelor’s in literature, I love to read and write and I’m somewhat of a decent storyteller. A die-hard fan of Miyazaki and Murakami and my go-to quote is “The past is a foreign country, we do things differently there”.

Dune and MGM’s James Bond: No time to die has to make room as the biggest superhero movie of 2021 is going to land on the big screens soon.

Yes, you read it correctly: Spider-Man: No Way Home will arrive in theatres on Dec. 17. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man sequel has already smashed ticket sales benchmarks, and let’s not forget trailer release records as well as the record of having the most villains Spidey has faced in the live-action flicks at one time.

There’s a good chance but it’s not going to happen anytime soon.

Having seen Eternals, and Shang-Chi, and The Legend of the Ten Rings premiere on Disney’s streaming channel, you’d expect the latest Marvel movie to follow suit. Shang Chi was made available on Disney+ after completing the mark of 45 days in movie theatres.

The same goes for MCU’s latest addition The Eternal will remain in theatres for 45 days and will release on the streaming platform in Dec. However, it’s speculated that the movie won’t be arriving till mid-January-February.

When it comes to No Way Home, though, things are a little more complicated. No Way Home’s streaming release will be exclusive to Starz early next year, following the movie’s home release, owing to Sony’s agreement with the TV service.

No Way Home won’t be available on Disney’s streaming service until after its Starz run, even though Disney has rights to Spider-Man movies.
