The crash was one of the worst incidents to happen on Interstate 81 this year. At least three people died and dozens more were injured when they became involved in what is currently being called “the most hazardous traffic mess” ever seen by emergency services workers from all over Schuylkill County coming together at once during their morning commute hour just outside Minersville city limits.”
The footage of the chaotic scene depicted in this video is sure to make anyone watching it’s Erin dollars. Up To 60 vehicles were involved in a pileup that turned an entire stretch between Tremont/Tower City exit and Highridge Park Road into chaos, with at least 24 people taken to hospital as result!
The coroner said that three people had been killed in the huge crash, but because of how much destruction there was at this location it’s possible their number could increase.
The closing of I-81 has caused major traffic problems for drivers in the area, who are now using other routes to commute. The highway was closed after a crash that happened more than 20 hours ago and there’s no word on when it will reopen yet – though many people worry about how they’re going make their daily commutes if this keeps up!
Pennsylvania State Police issued a warning early Tuesday morning that cleanup is only about half done and people should avoid the area.
Pennsylvania State Police said that the huge crash was caused by snow squalls.
Lillie Weaver was driving back to her home in the mountains when she saw something unfold before her eyes. The snow came out of nowhere and covered up all trace evidence including trees that were snapped in two by high winds or lightning strikes.”
The Red Cross was called to assist people caught up in today’s crash.
This month’s second major calamity occurred in central Pennsylvania.
It’s not just Pennsylvania anymore. This month, two major crashes have occurred on central Pennsylvania roads within a week of each other – and both times it was due to chain reactions caused by slow traffic slowing down suddenly ahead of time for no reason at all!
The crash occurred on Route 581 in Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County. It’s not immediately clear how this story ended but according to our sources at the scene, it appears that there was possibly significant snowfall prior which may have played a role in many vehicles becoming spinouts and hitting one another head-on!
It is a miracle that no one died in the car crash. A few people were treated for injuries, but thank goodness they’re okay!
The man with the roadside assistance company took a three-minute walk through what used to be your car. You can see this video below!
