It has been around a week since Apple has introduced to the world its newbie, the 2022 iPhone SE which can be considered an updated and upgraded version of its new low-budget smartphones.
Is it Apple’s most lackluster phone model? Well, We can argue on that later, but As for now let’s just see if it is any different from the earlier version or if there is any difference at all. Shall we?

So As for the external change, there haven’t been many changes, the phone has just been upgraded internally and not externally.
The display of both the phones remains At 4.7 inches which is 11.94 centimeters. For all the photography enthusiasts out there, the camera of the new phone remains the same with a 12-megapixel single rear camera and 7-megapixel single front camera.
If you’ve already seen the 2020 iPhone, you already know how the 2022 iPhone SE Looks and appears. It has got a lot more similarities with iPhone 8 which was launched way before in 2017. This will be the last iPhone model to use the Touch ID button as all the models after this are lined up for face ID.
Thinking of getting new colors, sorry for breaking your expectation but even the colors are similar like Starlight which is similar to silver, midnight again similar to the previous black. But Apple did make the glass much more durable but it will break anyways when dropped from a height on a tough surface, So it can’t be considered much of an upgrade.
The only changes which can be called worth the up-gradation are the A13 chip which has been upgraded to A15, Which will make a big difference several years from the present as apple will introduce a version of iOS and new features that will require more processing power.
The battery has also been upgraded from 1821 mAh to 2018 mAh. The ROM Remains the same with 64 GB but the ram has been upgraded from 3 GB to 4 GB.

It’s pricing right now is $429 which is much more expensive than its previous models but its pricing is expected to come down in a few months or so.
For all the Apple enthusiasts this can be a bit disappointing as they look forward to new and better launches every year. But This phone can be considered for the people who just want an iPhone or for the ones who just want a simple smartphone, that has a fast processor and more importantly is on a low budget.
