What is Facebook Snooze?
For 30 days, this feature prohibits updates from a certain person, page, or group from appearing in your News Feed.
This is merely a temporary solution.
When the snooze period expires, your News Feed will continue showing updates from that specific person, page, or group.
Snooze a Facebook Group, Profile, or Page Note that these instructions may apply to both the Facebook desktop version (PC) and the Facebook app (Android and iPhone).
To sleep a page, profile, or group, follow these steps.
Go to your News Feed to see what’s new. Find the person, organisation, or page whose post you want to snooze. Hit the three horizontal dots in the top right corner. For 30 days, press Snooze X. The profile, group, or page is called X. That is all there is to it.
On a web-based desktop: Hover your cursor over the Suspended button in the header to see what it means. When the End Snooze option displays, select it. If the post you choose in the previous stages is shared, you’ll see multiple snooze options. Each snooze option is exclusive to the individual, website, or group featured in the article.
Follow the steps below depending on which one you want to wake up.
Click the three horizontal dots button beneath the cover photo on the snoozed page. Snoozed > Snoozed > Snoozed > Snoozed > Snoozed > Snoozed
Hit the three horizontal dots at the upper right of the snoozed group. Snooze is turned off.
Unsnooze a profile by following these instructions. You can also use the procedures below to unsnooze a page or a group.
The steps are as follows:
At the bottom of the Facebook app, tap Menu. Select Settings & Privacy > Settings from the drop-down menu.
The News Feed is located above Reaction Preferences in the Preferences section. You’ve got it.
Snooze is pressed.
Profiles that have been snoozed can be found in the People section. The pages that have been snoozed can be seen in the Pages section. Snoozed groups can be found in the Groups section.
Unsnooze the one that has been snoozed. Next to it, press the End Snooze button.
That is all there is to it.
After you friend a friend or a page, your feed will provide numerous options in place of your post, one of which is the Undo option. If you quickly regret your decision, click or write it.
If you decide to cancel your snoozing on a friend or page at a later time, simply go to that friend’s profile or page. On a web-based desktop: Hover your cursor over the Suspended button in the header to see what it means. When the End Snooze option displays, select it.
