During the Blip, Clint Barton did not having a nice time. While he missed out on all of the excitement in Avengers: Infinity War, he paid the price when Thanos snapped his fatal fingers, causing him to lose his whole family. Everything went worse from there as he assumed the Ronin mantle and began his murder spree.
That is, without a doubt, a really dark moment in the character’s life. As a result, one could be forgiven for thinking that the new Disney+ series Hawkeye would be a bleak affair.
It was, however, more brighter and more lively than it had any right to be in the end. Even with its dark criminal elements strewn throughout, the Christmas story was made entertaining by Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld’s connection.
Hawkeye’s tale was originally supposed to be considerably harsher than what viewers got in the end, according to a talk with the show’s composers.
It’s a definite option to ponder why Hawkeye was going to be so gloomy in the first place. It’s easy to become caught up in Clint Bartons’ awful life events.
This fun sensation was inconceivable, but it allowed for all of them to be explored while also allowing Hailee Steinfeld’s hero to be freed without drowning in his sadness. Some may even argue that it made those darker, more contemplative moments all the more dangerous.
Despite Clint Barton’s shift to a more fun tone, he carried a continuous weight on his shoulders that never fully lightened up, even when he cracked dry jokes.
Trauma like that, on the other hand, never goes away. As more stories about the character are disclosed, future authors will have to continue juggling those uncomfortable situations. The question is when this will happen. Is there a chance for a second season? Only time will tell if this is true.

Hawkeye is an American television miniseries based on the Marvel Comics characters Clint Barton / Hawkeye and Kate Bishop / Hawkeye, created by Jonathan Igla for the Disney+ streaming service. Hawkeye started on November 24, 2021, with the first two episodes, and ran for six episodes, ending on December 22, 2021. It’s part of the MCU’s fourth phase. Critics praised the action scenes and the romance among Renner and Steinfeld in the series, which earned excellent reviews. Echo, a spin-off series centering on Cox’s character Maya Lopez / Echo, is set to premiere in 2023.
