Horizon Call of the Mountain
Horizon: Call of the Mountain is an upcoming virtual reality action-adventure video game developed by Guerrilla Games and Firesprite, and the game is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5’s PlayStation VR2 headset. It is part of the Horizon Series.
Horizon Call of the Mountain follows Ryas, a former member of the Shadow Carja who seeks redemption by uncovering a new threat looming over his former home. The narrative features both new and previous ones-established characters including the series protagonist.
Development is handled by Guerrilla Games and Fire spirit. Call of the Mountain is the first title announced to be developed by the latter since Firespirit’s acquisition by Sony in September 2021. The Game was officially released in January 2022.
The GamePlay of Horizon: Call of the Mountain
Horizon: Call of the Mountain is a video action-adventure game played from a first-person perspective and requires a PlayStation VR2 Headset for its virtual reality presentation. The game Horizon: Call of the Mountain follows a former Shadow Carja man called Ryas, who is experienced in archery, climbing, and crafting skills which the player has to use for survival throughout the game.
However, throughout the whole game, the player will encounter several Machines introduced in previous titles such as the Giraffe-like Tallneck and the Tyrannosaurus-like Thunderjaw.
In the game, there is an additional mode is also there outside the main campaign, which is the River Ride, which allows the player to passively explore the game world.
RELEASE OF Horizon: Call of the Mountain
So far, Sony hasn’t yet given any announcement or indication or announcement about the release of the game. However, the game will be used as a big launch window title for the PS VR2, so it is likely that we can see that the game will be released when the new Headset is launched by Sony.
PSVR2 is currently expected to be launched in the fall of 2022, so we can expect it to probably see Horizon: Call of the Mountain released in late 2022 alongside the headset or in early 2023.
STORY OF THE GAME
In the game Horizon: Call of the Mountain Sony Entertainment didn’t reveal its story and series timeline, and Sony doesn’t want to share or reveal too many details about the game yet.
Call of the Mountain will introduce a brand new protagonist, with the players seeing the story play out through their eyes. Surprisingly however all the gamers are apparently going to meet Aloy at some point, along with the other familiar faces and also some new characters.
it is still isn’t clear if the story will take place before, during, or after Horizon Forbidden West.
