The anime film is a gateway to a beautiful imaginary world that remains untouched with the feeling of pure delight. The phenomenal voice casts include Asami Seto, Daiki Yamashita, Mutsumi, Yumiko, Inori Minase, and Kana Hanazame. The different aspects of life are displayed through the storyline with the essence of friendship. The change and going back to the originality with a twist highlights the transition.
The trailer might be a little upbeat though there is a sense of hidden mystery out of sight. The trailer leaves us with Natsume saying,” Kosuke, we will make it home together for sure.” Drifting Home will premiere on Netflix on September 16. Nope is introduced to the group halfway through the trailer who used to live in the apartment but his shady behavior is surely something that should be noticed. The sudden caught up in mysterious phenomena in the apartment drift the storyline takes an unexpected turn. There are fights, friendship, care, and truthfulness in the film that makes it more interesting.
The suspense lies in the end, the biggest question “will they return to the previous world?”. The original trailer is likely to release closer to the release date that is keeping the audience pumped and all the wait is worth. All in the fantasy world yet the excitement and craze are real, will they survive? Will they remain friends? Many questions remain unanswered as the film is yet to be released.
The Netflix stream claims that more than 120 million households chose to watch at least one anime on Netflix in the past years which means the trend is real, people are seeing this as an opportunity to detach themselves from the real world and live it in the Fantasy one so Drifting Home is a chance for them in exchange of time with their emotions and experiencing the move.
The theme song for the animated film has been performed by the Japanese rock band, ZUTOMAYO, led by mysterious vocalist Akane and formed in 2018. The band brings different people together through music and is a treat to our ears. This will set a benchmark for the upcoming animation films.
Now the ultimate question is “will this fascinating concept and unfavorable scenario leave a mark on the audience and prove to be significant in recent times?”
