The second season of the adored Amazon Prime Video original series Invincible is on the way, but it appears that fans may have to wait much longer.
There are several animated originals on Amazon Prime Video, but Invincible has so far proven to be one of the most well-liked releases.
Based on a comic book story, Invincible takes cartoon superhero action to television with a lot of blood and gore to make it stand out from the competition.
The year 2021 provided fans with a ton of superhero and comic book-related stuff. But outside of the big-name Marvel and DC franchises, there was a show called Invincible that captured everyone’s attention for a very long time. And almost none of that conversation had anything but positive things to say.
Since there was just a single season of Invincible when it debuted in 2021, fans have been impatiently expecting new stories set in this realm. The good news is that this is being worked on, but regrettably, fans might have to wait a bit.
The animated series, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video back in March and was based on the same-named Image Comics comic by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, swiftly rose to the top of the year’s talk-show rankings, which is saying a lot given the competition it faced in its genre.
It was known for its extremely mature attitude, and it faithfully and successfully adapted its original material for the screen. Even if some of it was difficult to see, people who were completely enthralled by what they were seeing found it impossible to turn away.
Invincible will get a second season after its eight-episode debut, which was over a year ago. Unfortunately, even though network television’s fall TV season has started and there will be a ton of new episodes in the middle of the season, Invincible season 2 still seems to be a ways off.

What is known is that the show has been renewed for a third season in addition to a second. According to reports, voice acting for Invincible season two started in April, thus it’s unlikely that we’ll see the full product until 2022.

There was always a chance that it may show up in the first half of 2022, but given how long animation can take, it was highly improbable. We might not get any new episodes till later in the year. With that in mind, season 2 might premiere at the earliest in the fall of 2022, while 2023 is currently seems like a more realistic option.
