It is an anime adaptation of a manga series written by Yasuhisa Hara. Season three of the series aired from April 6, 2020, to October 18, 2021. Funimation announced that the streaming of the third season is available in the U.S, Canada, the U.K., and Ireland.
The opening themes of the series are “TOMORROW” and “STACKiNG” by Bish while the ending themes are “Deep inside” by Waterweed, and “kIng” by Emiko Suzuki. The Kingdom manga had over 90 million copies making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time and also the manga won the Grand Prize of the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize as a mark of honor.
