Date of the second season of Ashi

Since January 5, 2015, the manga has been appearing in Big Comic Spirits, a publication of Shogakukan. From July 12 to August 30, 2021, Ao Ashi Brother Foot, a spin-off series by the same author, appeared in Big Comic Spirits. An anime television series adaption for the spring of 2028 was announced on May 28th, 2021. The series is scripted by Masahiro Yokotani and animated by Production I.G studio under the direction of Akira Sat.

Character design for the series is handled by Manabu Nakatake, Toshie Kawamura, Asuka Yamaguchi, and Saki Hasegawa, with music by Masaru Yokoyama. The opening credits, “Mushin Haikus,” are performed by Alexandros, and the closing credits, “Blue Diary,” are performed by Rinne.

As you can see, even though the future is somewhat unknown, there is interest in Ao Ashi. Since the series is so popular, we’ll just have to wait and see how the manga does in the next few years before we can predict with any degree of certainty whether it will be maintained. In any case, the earliest that a second season may premiere is in 2024, though we’d need to hear something official by 2022 or 2023.

Trailer for Ao Ashi season 2

Now that you are aware of all the information and our opinions around Ao Ashi Season 2, you have probably already concluded that there isn’t a trailer for it. This is because we are unsure of whether a second season of the show will even air, therefore a trailer could not possibly be released. But given what we know, it doesn’t seem likely that this will happen.

As we’ve already mentioned, Ao Ashi is a very likely candidate to make a comeback. The anime has received appreciation from both the otaku community and professional skaters, and the manga is still being published. After that, we must wait and see if there are genuine plans for a continuation before we can predict what will happen.
