Tokyo Revengers
The Japanese manga series Tokyo Revengers is written by Ken Wakui. The anime television series adaptation aired from April to September 2021 with a set to premiere in January 2023. As of January 2022, the manga had over 50 million copies in circulation. The manga won the 44th Kodansha Manga Award for the shonen category in 2020.
Takemichi’s friends are forced into underground matches led by Kiyomasa to protect them and gain the respect of the gang’s leader, Mikey. The new friendship with Mikey blocked one of his friends from going to jail in the present though later Takemichi realizes the Tokyo Manji Gang presents a stronger threat initially as the time proceeded.
Izana Kurokawa was Tenjiku’s Boss and the leader of the Eighth Generation Black Dragon as he founded the S-62 Generation being the adoptive brother of Shinichiro Sano.
The series won Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2021 with the prequel movie, Jujutsu Kaisen in North America on March 18 with mixed reviews. Mikey’s training made him the strongest fighter collaborating with his light body, strong core, and toned muscles.
Naoto’s behavior represented a shyness and awkward confession they should go on a drive. Hina suggests coming with the person she loved on Christmas Eve and was dumped. The confession about Takemichi and turns around within eyes turned into a reason for a break up with her 12 years ago.
Nakamichi went back to the parking lot where there was a wait for Hina he arrived in time to see a truck straight toward her and smashing the car straight into a wall.
The scream was in Takemichi’s name and the attention focused on getting to the car in front where he heard another voice in a low tempo calling out his name. the turn to the driver and meets a familiar face he had just seen only hours ago: Akkun that brought a drastic twist and the story climbed in a flow.
The twist came with fuse drops mixed into the gas that caused Akkun’s truck to burst into flames. Nakamichi got into the loop to Hina’s car which urges Hina to escape. Gradually he notices that the force from the crash had forced her seat forward, impaling her middle and pinning her to her seat though she was trapped later.
The animanga series has been renewed for a second season at Jump Festa 2022. Season 2 of Tokyo revengers has not yet announced a release date though the news has made the fans super excited.
The live-action film adaptation was released in Japan in July 2021. Chapter 260 of the Tokyo Revengers manga will release on Tuesday, Jul 05, 2022. For more updates on the manga stay tuned.
