These beta sessions are often held for developers to gather input, and Infinity Ward has been routinely informing users of plans to address different concerns. It appears that the company is now attempting to solve one of the most prominent grievances from Call of Duty gamers.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s lobby disbanding after each game has drawn criticism, according to Infinity Ward. The developer is working on a few adjustments that will enhance the UI for sharing this information in-game and boost the chance of lobbies remaining together.
Players might have to wait until the final release to notice the changes since Infinity Ward doesn’t go into greater detail on how this will operate.
Players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been requesting permanent lobbies for some time. Given that they may establish friendships and rivalries throughout multiple games, it appears that many fans like the social component this adds to the game.
Players may now only pick Quick Play, which will hunt for matches from these selections, and their favorite game styles. After every game, the lobby is completely dissolved and a new search is started by the matchmaking system.
