In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the Beta Version is Solving Problems With Users Being Disconnected From Lobbies and Poor Performance.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta’s second session is now available. Fans of COD are having a blast playing it and exploring some of the incredible features that the future installment of the game has to offer.

On all three platforms—PC, Xbox, and PlayStation the shooter’s beta has seen a considerable amount of performance problems, though.

Furthermore, connection and network issues are among the issues gamers have encountered. One such is the “Connection Failed” issue, which has been occurring often for many people while playing matches or while trying to start the game.

As it confirms changes to how lobbies disperse after each game, Infinity Ward is working on a solution to one of the most common concerns from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 user base. All PC, Xbox, and PlayStation players can currently participate in an open beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The beta was formerly restricted to PlayStation gamers who pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2, but it was subsequently made available to all audiences.

The Modern Warfare 2 beta will run through September 26, giving gamers a few days to get their hands on the game. These beta sessions are often held for developers to gather input, and Infinity Ward has been routinely informing users of plans to address different concerns. It appears that the company is now attempting to solve one of the most prominent grievances from Call of Duty gamers.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s lobby disbanding after each game has drawn criticism, according to Infinity Ward. The developer is working on a few adjustments that will enhance the UI for sharing this information in-game and boost the chance of lobbies remaining together.
Players might have to wait until the final release to notice the changes since Infinity Ward doesn’t go into greater detail on how this will operate.

Players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been requesting permanent lobbies for some time. Given that they may establish friendships and rivalries throughout multiple games, it appears that many fans like the social component this adds to the game.

Players may now only pick Quick Play, which will hunt for matches from these selections, and their favorite game styles. After every game, the lobby is completely dissolved and a new search is started by the matchmaking system.

Although Infinity Ward makes no promises regarding the return of permanent lobbies, the user base will undoubtedly find it motivating to know that the issue is being investigated. The likelihood of a lobby remaining intact, however, appears to have increased as a result of the new changes.

If users wish to play with persistent lobbies enabled, Infinity Ward could add an option to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 menu that they can turn on. However, these choices may polarise the player base, which would affect the matchmaking algorithm as a whole.
