Using LEGO bricks, a fan, and artist of The Last of Us recreate a memorable scene from the game with Joel, Ellie, and Tommy.
A creative The Last of Us fan went above and beyond to use LEGO bricks to recreate a scene with Joel, Ellie, and Tommy. After the premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, sales of the games have increased, which means that fans have been sharing more art based on the games.
One prequel DLC, entitled Left Behind, two remastered versions, and a sequel, entitled The Last of Us Part 2, have been released for the original The Last of Us game since its 2013 release. Fans who became invested in the game’s gripping narrative, exciting gameplay, and multidimensional characters developed a significant following. So much so that they frequently use LEGO to recreate important scenes from The Last of Us.

With the caption “Adios, little brother,” digital artist brickpanda82 posted a miniature diorama with LEGO versions of Joel, Ellie, and Tommy riding their horses in front of a brightly lit forest. This was inspired by a scene in which the two main characters had to say their goodbyes to Tommy before continuing their adventure.
The LEGO art was shared on the Last of Us subreddit and on brickpanda82’s Instagram account, where it received mostly positive feedback. One Redditor suggested that a LEGO set of The Last of Us would be cool, while another suggested that the video game might be too graphic for the toy company. On their page, the artist has uploaded additional LEGO art inspired by The Last of Us, one of which depicts Joel firing a Clicker.
The game’s legacy lives on in HBO’s The Last of Us, especially because creator and Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann ensured that the series was as faithful to the source material as possible. Fans may have high hopes for how the sequel will be adapted for the small screen now that The Last of Us has been renewed for a second season.
If you want to play The Last of Us again, you can get the PlayStation 5 version or wait for the PC port, which will be released on March 3. The PC release of The Last of Us Part 2 has not been announced yet, but Naughty Dog may think about it in the future. If there is an intriguing plot for a third The Last of Us game, Naughty Dog is said to be developing it, so fans may still have hope.
The Final One: Part 1 is currently available on PlayStation 5 and will be released on March 3, 2023, for Windows users.
