In the past, if someone had asked me about a 10-inch tablet under $200, I would have told them straight away to get an Amazon Fire 10 HD. In the category, it had the best balance between value, performance, and display quality. They would have to manually install the Play Store, but similar-priced Android rivals could not compete solely on functionality.
That is altered by the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus. It shows that sometimes you can really have your cake and eat it too, with its stellar display and smooth operation.

The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus has a great display and is fun to use, and the price is still low enough that you can still afford Netflix at the end of the month. Although it does not have the same specs as tablets with greater processing power, this is an excellent streaming device.

The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus starts at $150 on Amazon and Lenovo’s website. There are up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage available in the base configuration, which comes with 32GB of storage. The 4GB model is well worth the extra money, in my opinion. Android runs more smoothly with less money spent on extra RAM.
Hardware, design, and what’s in the box
When you pick up the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus, you can immediately see how well-built it is. It is mostly made of metal, but there is soft-touch plastic on the back, which makes it possible to receive signals. Additionally, the frame is covered by soft-touch plastic. The M10 Plus is not too heavy to hold at 465g (just over 1 pound), but it feels rigid and well-built, adding to its premium feel.
The buttons lack the excellent build quality of the chassis. The same plastic that covers a portion of the frame also covers the volume and power buttons. As a result, you have a mushy experience in which you are unsure whether you have pressed the button.
I like the design except for the buttons. Lenovo claims that its speakers have been tuned for Dolby Atmos, which means that they are reasonably loud and produce rich sound.
Lenovo has retained some fan-favorite features despite its low price. Along the tablet’s top, you’ll find a microSD card slot for expandable storage and a 3.5mm headphone jack for traditional wired earbuds.
The device, a 10W charger, a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and a SIM card tool to access the microSD slot are all included in the box. Even though it will end up in my SIM card tool art exhibit, I appreciate them including one.
Should you purchase it?
The Lenovo M10 Plus should be at the top of your list if you want to watch premium content for less than $200. The display makes watching movies and YouTube videos a lot of fun. I like that it can back up a fantastic display with performance that is still adequate for the price, despite not being perfect.
The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus demonstrates that you can sometimes acquire a well-balanced tablet without sacrificing the Play Store by virtue of its build quality, display, and battery life.
