Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 On Sale Now
Nvidia’s budget-economical Pascal GPU, the Nvidia GTX 1070 is on sale as of today (10th June, 2016). The GPU starts at $379 USD. And yes, the Founder’s Edition GTX 1070 will come at a $70 Premium over the regular price, at $449.
According to Nvidia, the GTX 1070 performs better than the previous generation $1000 GTX TITAN X. This GPU could be the key to budget 4K Ultra-HD gaming with decent settings.
Talking about the specifications, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 features 120 TMUs, 1,920 CUDA cores, 64-bit ROPs and 8 Gigabytes of VRAM. The bus width is 256-bit. The base core clock is about 1.5GHz (1506MHz). With GPU Boost, the Nvidia GTX 1070 can go all the way up to about 1.68GHz (1683MHz) on the core. The memory clock is 2GHz (2000MHz) actual with a memory bandwidth of 256 GB/s. The I/O on the GTX 1070 includes one dual-link DVI-D, one HDMI 2.0b port and three DisplayPort 1.4 ports.
