Witcher 3’s Gwent is Now a Standalone Card Game

Today, at Xbox’s E3 conference, it has been revealed that Gwent is going to be a standalone game. It will feature single-player campaign featuring improved gameplay and graphics. The developers have kept Gwent’s stock mechanics. The game is based on skills, your cards only won’t make you win everything!

Gwent will have redeisgned visuals and it puts you into the center of things. The game will consist of two armies and you can select only 10 cards. Gwent will also feature 4 factions to choose from, each having distinct abilities. You can also craft new cards.

Gwent’s exclusive beta is also announced, head over to PlayGwent. Gwent will be coming this September.
