It’s almost time for Microsoft’s console to arrive and the excitement for the Xbox One S is pounding for gamers. As most gamers know, the Xbox One S comes with a lot of improvements, most notably its smaller size and 4k content playback with all-glorious HDR (High Dynamic Range) accommodating excellent visuals starting at $299. Along with the excitement, there’s tons of excellent trends happening in the Xbox Industry with early shipments of consoles in Norway and GameStop’s Trade-In program.
It was recently reported that Gamestop was having a trade in program where you could trade in your game consoles for the new Xbox One S. The program was initially set to trade in consoles for a day only. However, it seems like Gamestop has extended their program for the whole month of August.
Gamers will be allowed to trade in their existing consoles such as the original Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U and 3DS for this offer. However, these prices aren’t fixed and accepting your consoles is up to the decision of the Gamestop Staff who will also determine how much they’ll offer you to take your console.
In trade, you’re eligible to get the new 500GB Xbox One S Halo, 2TB Xbox One S, 1TB Xbox One S Madden NFL 17 and a 2TB Gears of War Edition Xbox One Console.
