Titanfall 2 is shaping up to be another great game. Recently Respawn Entertainment rolled out the Beta for Titanfall 2 as it nears its release. The Beta was well received and the developers are still working on fixing the bugs and issues to ensure a stable release.
According to Wario64 on Twitter, he claims that Titanfall 2 will not come on a physical disc. While the opinions of having a physical or digital game varies from person to person, we have to admit that downloads are becoming the more popular option on PC.
Taking that into account, for a game like Titanfall 2 which heavily multiplayer based, you’d need an internet connection either way. Adding to that, DVD ROMs aren’t being used in many modern PC build anyways, at for for the majority. Overall, it just seems like a move that had to be done soon, today or tomorrow.
Although if this is the case, let’s see how long boxed copies last as well.
Titanfall 2 is set to release on the 28th October, 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. For some teasers, here’s some footage of Titanfall 2 running at 4K.
