You probably know that Samsung has stopped producing the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung is now shipping out “Note 7 Return Kits” to customers. Samsung is now again recalling the Note 7 devices and this time they’re not replacing them or anything.
Samsung Going To Eradicate Every Note 7 On The Planet
A Samsung Spokesperson told Motherboard:
“We have a process in place to safely dispose of the phones.”
According to the statement above, Samsung is not going to refurbish, repair or replace any Note 7 device. It is going to “dispose of” all the 2.5 Milllion+ Note 7s ever made. This is indeed a complete waste of metals and other resources. Smartphones like the Note 7 have a very complex structure, meaning disposing of more than 2.5 Million of these is probably not environment-friendly too.
And yes, Samsung may deal with the Note 7 devices in a way that is not harmful to the environment or salvage some resources off these devices, however, that is unlikely.
So yeah, guys. This is bad news for the Note 7 fans. Anyways, stay tuned to GeeksULTD for more.
