Crysis pretty much dawned the PC superiority in the gaming section with its spectacular visuals, high-quality ambience and a thrilling storyline. The game immediately garnered attention from all sectors introducing almost real-life graphics.
Over the years the game aged beautifully and thanks to having such an active community on the PC platform, kept on receiving updates and mods. Mods spilling out the best of the best visuals at the time further proved how well off the PC platform had been for enthusiasts and further widened the gap.
This time around, however, the ever so popular title is back with a proper RTX remaster fit for today’s standards. Revealed on the official Twitter page, the news came up with a 50-second teaser clip showing off the efforts of the studio behind working to make the most out of the game. Introducing textures up to 8K in resolution, active ray tracing, better ambience and so much more. The lighting alone makes the game look a thousand times better than it was originally made. Being able to revive such an absolute classic is something old school enthusiasts enjoy most.
The finished product is scheduled to release this September 18th on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and of course PC. Folks on the Nintendo Switch do have the ability to purchase the game digitally for $29.99 right now.
