The Last of Us Part 2 by Naughty Dog has to be one of the most talked-about games of the year. Since before its release till after its launch the title remained the centre of attention for many.
This new update at a glance brings “Grounded” difficulty mode for hardcore gamers making it even more dangerous and difficult to go through the campaign. Removing key features like enhanced listening, multiple HUD features and much more. Furthermore, the studio has introduced a “Permadeath” mode for total hardcore gamers meaning no second chances. Players must complete the whole game without any deaths or just start over from the beginning.
While only having a spectacular single-player campaign which would inevitably end and render the game obsolete, Naughty Dog’s has brought in updates to the game including tons of features inspired by previous Naughty Dog games and PC mods.
Apart from a new level of difficulty this update also brings over 30 new graphic modes changing not only the video but the audio and feel of the game as well. Ranging from an 8-bit preset to a cel-shaded preset and everything in between. The update also brings fun little modifiers impacting the gameplay by quite a bit like having one-shot mode enabled or having infinite ammo and other mods like a slow-motion mode etc.
Apart from all this the studio has listened to fans and brought in various little gameplay changes making the game more enjoyable and playable for fans. The previous update brought in a photo mode taking the community by storm being widely accepted for such amazing levels of modification.
This update patch goes live today for all PS4 users through the PSN store.
